the pspbtcnf.txt is the list of prx (i think) that the psp is supposed to load, if any is missing, its a brick (I think...)
you can freely edit the vshmain.prx and the pspbtcnf.txt will stay the same
the "problem" is that DAX is patching the vsh in memory but when using a decrypted vshmain.prx these patches won't work anymore thus the content of ISO, GAME150, GAME3.xx don't show up.
loading 2 vshmain.prx's, one decrypted and one encrypted does the trick.

hack: successful ;) now do i absolutely need to do that vshmain.prx redirection? if i don't, what is going to mess up? scratch that, found the quirks already :P
also, i'd like to point out that the first offset was the color of the font with the "original" theme selected, the one that lets you use a BG
[EDIT] just an idea, but rather than mucking around with the pspbtcnf.txt file to redirect to the encrypted vshmain.prx, wouldn't it be possible to reencrypt the modified one as to avoid this kind of trouble? just a fleeting thought, probably not even a particularly viable one.
