You can upgrade straight to 4.01 m33-2, if you have a PSP 3.52 m33-3+.
ok so i did it and it was easy just update from 3.52m33-4 i think that's the min update u need but i just got the update OF and put it in the update on the CFW named 401.pbp and it worked but whenb it comes to the OFW screen its a trick and worked perfectly
Yeah. The OFW installer came up first in 3.71 M33, and been used since. It was supposed to be scrapped in 4.00 m33, but here wee are in 4.01 M33 and it's still here.
i don't mind the SCE updater :D

If I were you I would update to 4.01 M33-2 and install the 1.50 addon.
Did you back-up your flash0!? ifso restore flash0 then download my "CTF" FFXIII lightning theme and copy all to your memorystick,.overwriting,. you now only have to go into recovery and enable CXMB4.01 in plugins,. then go into XMB again and into "settings">>theme settings>>theme and select theme.
try and find a CTF version of the theme you want to use,. it got to be a CTF4.01m33!! select from theme menu,. ;)
you only have to copy CTF theme's to MS0:PSP/theme
