Its NORMAL.

It shows for EVERYONE so if someone who obtained it after paying for it sees it, s/he'll realize s/he's been scammed.

It doesn't show for me.

off topic:
@ matchung, nice kid
@ andrewcc, stop trying to glean me off utorrent, i love it and nothing else comes near the 1337ness of utorrent. (has been bugging me about vuze for months now)
the batteries in my keyboard are dying, so only 1 in 5 or so key presses has any effect. its taken me 10 minutes to type this post...

* PSPkiller goes to find some AAA's

utorrent got my donkey reported, thank god i live in canada or i would've been screwed; utorrent is a client that's made to get you busted

personally, i try to stay as far as i can from those clients Dotdotdot

but tev, you can keep using it if you want :P
utorrent got you reported??? that's unlikely, it was most likely the torrent you downloaded
YoYoBallz Wrote:utorrent got you reported??? that's unlikely, it was most likely the torrent you downloaded

it actually did it two times, so i don't think it could've been the torrent...

and i read that people did report it as a tattle tale client anyway

I think if it was a tattle tale client, huge private scene sites wouldn't use it because they are all about security are user safety.  Whe using public torrents, it displays your IP to the whole world including the RIAA, SIIA, and every other anti piracy groups.  Anti piracy groups will idle on public torrents just to get people IP's and then report them/

most likely, that is the case

ah well, i know that i never had any trouble after i stopped using utorrent; so being the paranoid guy i am ill just stay with flashget for now :P
Indeed ;)
Developers of uTorrent have absolutely no obligation or incentive to report people (think about it).

I see those messages everywhere, but probably more in animes.
