Summer job for the motherfucking win! I got a job at a customer service center, taking calls from people that have complaints about, or want to place an order with Mrs. Fields' Cookies. I make $9/hr and $10.50 on Sundays, currently working part time plus rotating Sundays. As soon as I can, though, I'm going to switch to full time. When I start working full-time, I could easily pull in at least $1200 a month. So basically, as far as money goes, I'm pretty set Hihi
...Yes, I'd like to complain about one of your represanatives
wow your so lucky...im working a job at 5.50 an hour and my paycheck doesn't look pretty when i get it.... -.-
I do pinstriping for $500 an hour

j/k j/k

but I really should start
I have the skill and all
And they really do make about that much
i make about 900$$ a month as a dish washer and i only work 4 hours a day (at 10.00$$ an hour :D)

but i seriously don't need the money, i have a psp and a computer i don't really worry about anything else :P

well maybe a tablet, for my graphics hobby

'Cept that you don't know my name. HAHAHAHAHA

And I actually can get a lot more, depending on how I adjust my taxes. If I claim myself as totally dependent on my parents, they take very little from my paycheck. I could end up with $1500 depending on tax tweaking.
That's called fraud and in my country you get taken by the IRS

and
if var (my_county == your_country) {
alert: ('YOU/'RE GOING TO JAIL!!!')
}

It's not fraud. It's how you claim yourself. If I'm independent, it means that they take more from me, but I get a rebate at the end of the year, and I can own property and whatnot. If I'm a dependent, then my parents get benefits, and they don't take as much income tax from me, but I don't get any rebate, and my parents get more money on theirs. It's really complicated, and I don't understand some of it myself, but it's all on the right side of the law.
spoon i don't even have time for a job. im going to aus for 4 weeks immediately after school ends, then im back for one week and off to holland for 2 weeks to see my dutch friends :D but then when i get back, i barely have time to see any of my friends here and i already have to go back to school. not to mention the serious chocolateloads of schoolwork wee are given ON TOP of revision...
Damn, i need a job. i want to try and buy a laptop before  october and if I'm going to pull that off i need a job asap. I've applied at  all the local supermarkets and takeaways but so far iv'e only had one takeaway say they'll phone me if a job opens up (unlikely as they took someone on last week) and one of the supermarkets write to me saying  I'm not what they're looking for. well what are they looking for exactly? I'm having to  look further and further away from home, I've already applied and asked in all the places within cycling distance so even if i do manage to get a job I'll be reliant on buses. the minimum wage in the uk for 16-18 year olds (I'm 16) is £3.40, so if i work  4 hours  a day, 5 days a week for 3 months-ish (now until october) i earn £816. more than enough to buy a decent laptop and accessories, and possibly a new phone. my current phone is  4  years  old and its only features are a colour screen and a 320x240px camera...
