Today is my fiv-err, six year old little brother Hans' birthday. He's bouncing off the wall with happiness, especially after what Fred (my 15yo bro) and I gave him for gifts.
First off, and most importantly, Fred gave him his old DS. Hans absolutely adores the Nintendo DS, with New Super Mario Bros, Mario Kart, and Nintendogs being his favorite games of all time. That's another part of the gift. I got Hans his own copy of each, and he's loving them. Last, but not least, I got him a small drawing book, as he loves drawing and coloring.
One thing I'm a bit sad about is that I'm not going to be able to go to his birthday party tomorrow afternoon, as I have training for work that I can't miss. But the good news is that wee're planning on having a family party this weekend, so I don't really miss out.
