i don't know why it works like that, i don't pretend to be an expert, i just know from monitoring outputs that its higher during brighter displays

I'm just saying I'll believe the real google not the half assed site that's pretending to be as good as them while just using their technology

oh yeah, because coporations never lie about things so that they can avoid doing things...

google have a lot more incentive to lie than a freelance website...there is no gain personally to them if you use there site over google, whereas google try to maintain a monopoly, which is most easily done by convincing people that thier direction is best. Am overhaul would signify, to the general public, that google arent as sure as they seem that there direction is best, thereby losing support

So google are more likely to lie imo

CRT's technically saves light when black is used, since crt's work by shooting electrons against a metal wall... the light generated by the collision iluminates the pixel. black = no collision at all

BUT, since the flyback (what generates the high voltage for that) is always running, you don't get to save energy...

No display runs on heat, plasmas run with the light generated by fire, hence plasma (plasma = fire)
lcd uses a backlight

theoretically one can save energy that way, but its too small for it to be noticeable

hahaha i remember men google did go black for som energy savin thing a few weeks ago n they said it was jus to get people to turn lights off but that making google black made no energy saving at all and that's y it isn't always black!!! looks like they didnt research r this thing is bull :P

lcds use a backlight to light up the display the actual color is determined by the heat of the Liquid crystal.

Also what does google care? They have hundreds of people... This website has more to gain by stealing google's customers. after all they are an unpopular piece of shit website
