WHY WON'T THE DRAMA IN MY LIFE EVER END?!?!
Okay, so one of my friends held a little mini-party. No real planning, just everyone go to her house and chill. A chance to see friends again after the first few weeks of summer. There was like 8 or 10 of us, and wee ended up having a lot of fun doing just random poo poo. Like wee played pool and ping pong in the basement area, made random food stuff from her fridge, goofed around on the piano, etc. Now, I went there with my friend Nickie, the best friend I'm always talking about. Wee went together to save gas and to simplify things.
Well, part way through the night, at about 9:30-ish, she tells me she has to leave at 11 to go home because she told her mom she'd be home by then. I don't have to leave til midnight, and seeing as I only see her about twice a month, I ask her to aske her mom if she can stay an extra hour, then I can take her home when I go home, wee all spend more time with friends, yadda yadda yadda. She says no, but I keep asking her for a bit, until finally at 10:50 she says she'll ask. She goes upstairs, because the basement has no cell service. The rest of us continue playing pool and throwing darts at the target and missing by 5 feet. Finally, it's like 11:15, and Nickie still isn't back. I ask my other friend Eva if she can go upstairs and see where she went. She comes back 5 minutes later, saying that Nickie left. double you tee eff.
So I call her, and she's all indignant, saying she's mad at me, but won't tell me why. I offer to pick her up and take her home, because even if she doesn't live that far away, it's still pretty far, and it's 11:20 at night. Regardless of the fact that she lives in a pretty safe neighborhood, it's still not a good situation. She snaps back saying she doesn't need my help. Finally, she says if I really want to, she'll take a ride from me. After about 10 minutes of struggling to get out of the crowded driveway, I get down the street to her. She refuses to even talk to me. I ask if she can get in the car so wee can talk, but she refuses. I apologize for naggin about it, and she refuses to acknowledge my apology. Finally, after she keeps ignoring me, I get frustrated and drive off.
I know I was a bit naggy about asking, but not enough that she had to be THIS mad. And it's not like she wanted to leave and I was ignoring that, she was having a great time. In fact, she was playing pool when she finally said she'd call. Honestly, the drama never ends around me. If it's not my parents or grandma, it's my best friend. I just want it all to fucking stop and let me take a breather lol
