Still on DAX's 3.90, is there a compelling reason to upgrade? I use mah psp fer PS1 games and a lot of movies, both umd rips and those I've transcoded mahself. I've heard that pops is broken on it, has it been fixed? And is cxmb compatable with it?
Yeah, I know, I could have researched it, bu I figure most here already know the answer.
A new version of pops is included in the -2 update.
You will notice browsing photos/music/videos/games is much speedier now :)
A new version of cxmb was released for it but you have to use the themes made for 3.95, old 3.90 themes are not compatible because the prx offsets were all jumbled up again :(
^^also you can still just use a ctf to change themes ands the way to go
Wait, sounds like you both are saying opposite things, I have about twenty ctf files I switch between, because the prx's have been changed, the old ctf files will not work, or are they still valid? Reason I'm looking into this now is because Schmilk is making a buncha themes fer 3.95 only (damn you Schmilk, quit making me have to upgrade, lol!). If only his themes weren't so damn awesome...
But everything else seems to be working just fine with the last update, Schmilk? I've never run anything not made by DAX, well, not since the devhook days.

Azumi's saying that you can use the CTF's made specifically for 3.95. 3.90 CTF's will not work, as they changed offsets and whatnot in 3.95.
I'm actually in the process of updating to it right now

and yeah games that what i mean you can still use ctfs but only ones made for sorry 3.95.. lol sorry for not being clear about it
Quick question, anyone know if 3.95 GEN2 is a standalone update? Or do you have to have 3.95 GEN installed first?

far as i know you get 3.95 then net updatdate to get -2.... in recovery you can set it sony, m33, or gen for the net update icon to point to
the -2 checks your psp to see what's on it, if you have gen it does the update, if you have an earlier firmware it does a full install.
:) Glad to see peeps are trying this out :)
