I'm using Sygate and the fudgein thing is constantly using 10+% of my CPU.. double you tee eff... that's just a bit too much for my liking, plus its an old product. Reason I used it is because it doesn't interrupt my Torrenting, what do you lot use with Torrents going at the same time?
I've used ZoneAlarm on my 32 bit install of Windows and it's worked fine.

Using FortKnox (suggested by xero1) on my 64 bit Windows and it works alright too.
FortKnox isn't using any of my CPU here, and it's relatively simple and gets the job done I guess.
As of now I am using Eset Security Suite 64 bit. Its personal firewall is effective as well. Initially it is on strict monitor and allows absolutely no communication, but putting it on Learning mode, it asks only the first time the program communicates (includes torrents.) I use this along with with PG2, working vvery well!

I've had problems with PG2 & Azureus working together - I never get green.

Might try Eset personal firewall...

I never used Azureus (due to fact the on my old PC, Java Runtime would not install for some reason, and then never bothered afterwards).. uTorrent for the win!

I use it as I have the RAM and I like advanced settings.... I just realized ESET Personal Firewall doesn't exist, its just in the suite.. ZoneAlarm it shall be then.

Did you try unblocking 'Bittorrent Inc' when it gets blocked by PG2. It happens with uTorrent as well.

On topic: I use ESS and I have no problems once so ever. On top of that, AV, Spyware scanner included.
