im positive i saw that someone had changed a particular value to -1 and managed to turn the mxb upside down. can anyone tell me which value this is because i am counting on it to create an interesting theme :) can anyone tell me which value in xmenu?

Yeap, reverse stretching.
Those values indicate X and Y scales, so the default is 1 (ie width×1). Changing it to -1 means width×-1 so it's reversed. If you want, you could change it to -1.5 or something to make it look really dodgey.

^^Also change the events when they press keys - you can make the "context" (option) menu appear every time they press an arrow key in the XMB :)
So this is real after all.
