I know the URL that the search is made using, and what i would like to accomplish is that where i normally search google using the box in the top right corner (i can change to various others, but its set to google normally)

Ive flicked through about:config, using yahoo to try and determine what is done, can't find anything

I know plugins can be used to add them, but a plugin doesn't exist for the engine i wish to add, and i have no idea how to make one

Is there a simple way to add any engine i want, or am i gunna have to accept it?

(also, i know i can change my address bar to search anywhere i wish, but i enjoy the functionality of the "im feeling lucky" bonus to flick straight to popular sites)
mine searches youtube.

In FF3, if a site supports it, you can add the search to the search feature in the top right. (When there's a blue highlight over the arrow button)
click on that magnifying class next to the search bar...there should be divider and below there should a list of available search engines for that page
pick one and click it
ahhh...that did it, thanks DC
