So i was doing the pokemon sotw, and i get a stupid memory not read error!!!!! I had been working for a bout an hour with no saving, it was perfect!!!! I was going to win the sotw with this!!!!! Ok maybe not, but i really liked it.
So I didnt let it get my hopes down and tried again, and it happen again!!!!!!!!! So i tried what Slushba132 said, and it still doesn't work. So now i have to be ctrl+a and copy so when firefox gets that stupid error i won't have to start all over.
People... always save your work!!!!!

...did you shut it off completely? You can't just click restart because that won't clear ram
you have to shut it off entirely and then turn it back on

sounds like you have other problems though... you say firefox crashing causes it? it it crashing you whole computer? would have to or at least lock it up to cause PS to also crash.... uninstall and reinstall both and see what happens....
...I understand how you feel I would always make mapes for c&c 3 and right when I finished I would D3D_EOUTOFMEMORY and would lose everything

Its happen before, but maybe once a month, never twice in a row. Firefox has never crashed before, maybe its time for a new computer :D
Yeah that's happend to me quite a lot in the past (I mean Paaaaaaaaaast)

if it keeps gving you problems then id reinstall the OS.... how much ram do you have? if less than 1gig then yeah upgrade...
