Custom Firmware 3.95 GEN-2
As wee promised yesterday, wee now bring you a new version of the custom firmware 3.95 GEN.



First of all, wee'd like to thank those who have supported us and reported the bugs that occured in the first version of 3.95 GEN.

Below is a list of changes in 3.95 GEN :

• Fixed issue which crashed the PSP if you had vshmenu mode 'None'.
  

• Fixed SNES emulator issues, now works fine.
  

• Fixed few homebrew issues with the Slim.
  

• Last version of the SNES emulator, PSPTube and many other homebrew using ME now work fine.
  

Installation :

• For everyone who wants to install 3.95 GEN, you must be on at least 3.71M33.
  

Download the package with 3.95 GEN and the popsloader.

RTU file for all PSP in custom firmware 3.1 M33
DOWNLOAD

Note: When installing, all your plug-ins will be disabled.

• Connect your PSP to your computer via USB.
  

• Extract the file you downloaded by right clicking and choosing the option 'Extract Files To...'.
  

• Extract the files to your PSP's assigned letter (for example, X).
  

• Leave USB Mode.
  

• Goto GAME > Memory Stick > 3.95 GEN

I still am on 3.93 cfw.. not gonna upgrade till 4.00 M33 comes along!

it won't be long. All these 3.9x series are a precursor to 4.0 (obv.) in the sense that Sony wanting to perfect little addition in these fw so that they get implemented flawlessly in 4.0. After all, 4.0 is rumored to be the biggest fw with an rather ambitious aim Xvid, PDF support etc.. many new things. So it makes logic to think that they would rather not have small bugs killing the big fw. Like 3.9 was basically a update for 3.8 (if i am not mistaken) and 3.93 was a minor update to 3.9 etcl..

hmm again waiting for 4.00 m33 by the way if they release 1.50 kernel add on i will test this

im confused, do i download RTU file for 3.1 m33 or do i get it from pspgen?
i like this firmware because its different and shows that when dax is gone other
people like this can keep it alive. great to see that popsloader works aswell as nearly everything ive tried. Irshell boots up, but no launching homebrew or isos.

That's seriously one big rumor, from what I know.  People have said that that would be in 3.00.

Oh, and the PSP does support XviD and DivX - it has since FW 1.00.
Just not the typical video that you download from the internet though.
