ok so ive been having problems lately with my internet connection and accessing websites i have internet but its been disconnecting and just recently it hasn't been letting me on a couple of sites and i don't understand why
anyhelp would be great
mght they be torrent sites? i know of some isps in the US restricting access by thottling your connection way down when you go to ant bittorrent stuff... what kind of net ya got? far as i know it was cox cable and they were 'testing' it in certain areas of the country... can't remember exactly where of hand but a major city i know that and out west somewhere
i use opera and firefox but its sites like myspace and someother sites like yahoo im having problems on

oh so its not isp throttling.... um... so they work in IE? or try maybe reinstalling firefox and opera and see if that works.. remeber to go to your program files and erase its install folder if it leaves one before you reinstall so all traces are gone
Check your firewall too...
It could also just be server for myspace or something similar to that...
Another you can try (for XP) is clicking repair connection
see but its not always like sometimes it will load and sometimes it won't but ill try what u guys said OH and i didnt try them on ie i don't ever really use them ill try when i get home since im at work right now
When those sites don't work, do they work through a proxy?
Either you're being blocked, or your ISP has a bad connection to them or something.
Alternatively, they may have eXx1l3d an IP in your ISPs dynamic IP range.

they only work everynow and then like now its working but earlier it wasn't
switch of your router, wait for a while then reconnetc and check. This happens to me frequently in Linux... but a restart or a reconfigure solves this!

ive done this many of times doesn't help
