are you serious?

it may brick your PSP when diskcheck by using Windows tools....
All I did to fix CRCs were just delete the 'dic' folder. Never had an CRC error since.
same.... sometimes, when replacing the files with newer ones, I just copy gameboot and paf individually.. that seems to work always.
There are many solutions.

I have had this error numerous times and I believe I have most of the solutions.

The first thing to do would be to free up as much space a possible. So, dummying jap, korean and the one with the funny name. The next thing you got to do is look around your flash and see if there is anything there that shouldn't. For example backed up rcos files which theme creators so kindly include,.. continue later,..DINNER!! ;)
this really works for me everytime i make themes i first dummy my dic folder and the font (jpn0.pgf and gb3bwfun) since I'm using fat PSP, but still I'm experiencing cyclic redundancy error and everytime i do this trick i can pass now my decrypted paf.prx and gameboots long for 15 secs with no hussle.

just try it out bro's and post result here.
