That's blackmail, and the school would own u for that, and then u WOULD actually be guilty of something. Since the school already hates u, they would jump on u the second u mention that.
EDIT: U wouldn't really get owned that much, but ur not going to suceed, so there are only detriments, and no benefits.
In this case, the legal path is far better. Just sue them. lets see, under torts, u may be able to sue for, depending on the actual facts, ... false imprisonment, maybe negligence... and if any force was involded, maybe also assult and battery.

With George Bush as the president, did u seriously expect more?
Beaner2k6 Wrote:i wouldnt be surprised if he got half a million if not more
Very unlikely. He didn't really suffer much damage/injury. The amount u receive in court is generally meant as a compensation to what u loose, physical/mental/loss of rights.... Generally, when u hear people getting chocolateloads is when they get completely owned, and end up quadraplegic or vegetative state or something. And then the money he receives would include everthing like servants for the rest of his life/remodelling house/inconvenience/mental damages/compensation for ALL money he could have earned should the incident have not happened/compensation with money for ALL the other thing he lost e.g friends, freedom, convenience, ability to do things which now he can't/LOTS of other factors... And that will add up to something rediculously high, a lot more than 1/2 million.
Since he lost little, he probably won't get much at all. He can easily claim for compensation for loss of rights to freedom and stuff, but that doesn't pay very much. And althougth 1/2 million in not really that much compensation, i very doubt he can getthat much, unless if he can prove something like he's suffering from trauma that will effect him for the rest of his life or something like that.
