Well, last night I learned a valuable lesson. If you are tired enough, and have a ridiculously high fever, then you'll hallucinate. Seriously, last night was so freaking weird. I get in bed at about 11, realizing that my face is burning hot while I feel freezing cold everywhere else. I almost get to sleep, when it all goes to hell. Basically, it was like a dream, but I was still awake for it. My comforter was trying to escape my bed, because it wanted to be a sail for a pirate ship, while tiny voices were yelling at me to get off my lazy donkey and get to work. At first it scared me a bit, but then it was kinda funny. But by 2:30, it was just downright annoying. I hardly got any sleep last night, and when I finally got to sleep for real, I woke up at noon. Good news is the fever's gone, although I still have a severe headache and a sore throat, along with the requisite back pain from my shitty mattress.
In other news, I'm really happy because this morning was my brother Fred's first day of football conditioning, a summer-long camp thing where every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, all future football players have to show up at the school weight room at 6:30 AM, then work out until 9 AM. This will definitely get him in the best shape of his life, and get him ready for football in the fall.
