Lets be completely honest with ourselves here.
Windows 7 looks like Vista with Multi Touch capabilities with comes with a new UI possibility (Windows ME resurrected reloaded, anyone?)
The hype for the iPhone 2 (3G) is a load of bullcrap because they are just making it look nicer, adding a camera and more connectivity options at a heftier price.
So wee are brought back to the back of our mind because wee all know that Google Android is coming.
Google demonstrated it at the IO Conference and I have to admit, this is brilliant.
An open platform, with plenty of applications, easy to use yet still sophisticated UI, (see custom displays) yet with the possibility of a plethora of functionality, which wee can see some of in this demonstration.
Wee can all say that Googles greedy, they think too much of themselves, but who cares when they have the best Search Engine in the world, and the best Video Streaming site in the world?? Nothing to argue here, Googles going into the Mobile Platform business, and they're going to do very well.
