yeah im also a member of a few private trackers like jpopsuki which i doubt will ever get sued.... i do use MN alot for some reason... its easier to find anime subs that way instead of having to check each sub groups website

1. Private trackers imposes rules, like seeding ratios that you have to meet. (My max upload speed is like 6KB/s. No chance I'm seeding to a ratio of anything high for everything I download.)
2. Registration/login is very annoying
3. Not all torrent clients work with private trackers.

It's probably about time though. I was wondering when Mininova would get targeted.
Interesting about Rapidshare/Megaupload/other sharing sites though...

1. Rules keep the site inline and no sPa/\/\ poo poo chocolatey torrents away. When DLing a torrent your going to be uploading some back anyway so with a private tracker at least your ip and what not open for just anybody to see. (BREIN, MPAA, RIAA. ect)
2. Once your a member you can alway make a cookie and never need to login.
3. 95% of people use utorrent anyway and every tracker use's it.
In no way am I trying to start a flame war but that's just my thoughts
feinicks Wrote:yes, however Pvt tracker is good only for those people who have the bandwidth to enjoy speeds and upload decently. People with limited bandwidth experience no difference what so ever. for 256kbps bandwidth, nothing anyone does is going to increase dl speed to more than ~30kbps. ul speed varies accordingly.
