alright, time for something completely different and unexpected from me...

i came across this free program called DAZ Studio....basically, it allows you to pose 3D models to your liking :D

so, i dl'ed the program, along with a starter pack of 3d models to play around with.....here's my first attempts at this...

again, all the models were pre-made....i simply positioned them where i wanted them and made some changes for each pic as i saw fit...and no, i haven't figured out how to do backgrounds in the scenes yet...that'll probably be the next thing i do

by the way, in case you can't figure it out, that's a starfighter she's sitting on top of.......lol

i used the same scene for each pic, but made some changes to each one, such as the color of her outfit, hair, camera position, etc......basically, i was just testing out the program to see just how good it is...and it is WIN Inluv

.................except there IS one little catch to the program.....while the program and the starter stuff are free, anything else you wish to add on to the program will cost actual money (sorry, E-Pigs won't work for this....)....still, it's a very good program, and trust me, there's still some more free models i haven't used yet..... Specky

depends on how much is in the scene.....these took only about a minute a piece
damn hot!
i need to check out that program..i wanted to make some models stand up instead of sit down but couldnt figure it out real fast in cinema4d...i wonder how this will react to them.

if you're interested, i might upload what i have in a day or two (the program + freebies)
I am interested, but until then i found daz studio 2.1.1.13 and some UBERSpot Light Shader that will be done in 60 seconds :)
let me know what else there is and im sure i can find it

some volumetric shading on the first picture would be very hot!

jebbez...ripped much?  pretty sure they 'borrowed' a photo of me to model that guy :(

That quick? WOW.

a typical C4d render for me would take ~3hours. A couple of them took 12hours!
cool.......

is that gonna be the future of the graphics section?
