Agreed. I also have VERY good visual memory, and when I read a test question, I can always remember exactly where on a page, next to what topics, and about how far it was in a chapter when it was discussed, even if I don't remember exactly what it was about.  That all definitely helps me in the end.

Also, I like to reread something that is alluded to later, and it is a lot easier for me to search for the info in a book.  Again, I can apply my visual memory to it.  Also, it just feels "right" to be holding it, especially since I usually study while I am relaxing in a tub or while I am on a couch or something.  Unless I have a laptop, which I hear doesn't mix well with bathwater, I find the books to be more convenient.
Books are so analog

and i like the ability to <ctrl><f>

Also google is now archiving books!

agreed, i was just about to say that

imagine how much paper people could save if they used e books rather than actual books
mmm i always prefer to have the physical book idk y but if i can't get it then an ebook will do fine. idk why i jus prefer to read from pages instead of a screen!
Books are jsut so much more satisfying...i can't really add anything else to the arguement that hasn't been said yet though

As with J though, i will use an ebook if i can't get hold of the original, or if im going somewhere and don't have much carrying space.

Still, if i had enough
Awesome
With the real book, you aren't forced to read from a small screen.  Also, you can lie down a read stuff (or whatever pose you feel comfortable with).  Novels are good, but some big textbooks are a little annoying.
Also, with LCDs, they don't work well in the light (though the opposite is true at night).
also an ebook advantage. autobookmarks no damaged pages and your psp doesn't need a light :D

same goes for the corporate fools who print all of their emails :(

the ceo and cfo of my last job never once touched outlook becaue their ASSisstant printed every email and then they would write their response on letterhead and the ASSisstant would type out the reply :(  Sooo stupid...
